Hotel overlooked garden and the room was nicely decorated. I liked croissants and fresh fruit food in the morning. The location was excellent and unbeatable for exploring this recreational area, so close to Nantes, Le Croisic, Clisson, the city centre of Nantes and a reasonable cafe bar style restaurant.

We got great value for our money at Chateau De La Garnison. The room was pure luxury, with all the modern comforts and beautiful views. The location was ideal, in a lovely quiet area near a forest, perfect for walking to the local town. The staff, especially Gwen, were so pleasant and helpful, assisting us with meals out, taxis. The owners have truly done an amazing job restoring this old building to its former glory.
One small thing that could have made the morning meal even better would be a wider variety of options.

My recent stay at a hidden gem not to be missed was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome. The hosts were polite, easy-going, and even offered to book a local restaurant for my evening meal. Despite their busy schedule with a wedding and seminar the next day, I never felt neglected. The breakfast served was divine, a true highlight of my stay. This hidden gem is well worth visiting, whether for a stopover or a longer stay. I am grateful to the host for putting up with my naughty dog and I will definitely be calling again. Many thanks!
